The underlying use case is a real one — someone sends something in anger and deletes it moments later, or edits a message to change what they originally said, and you'd rather know what actually happened. That is a legitimate personal-transparency need, and it is why bots like this exist in such volume across Telegram.

The honest caveat, and the reason it does not receive a top safety score here: this only works because the bot receives and stores a copy of every message sent to you (or in a group it's added to) before any deletion can happen — meaning the people messaging you are having their messages logged by a third-party bot, typically without their own knowledge or consent. Using it is not illegal, but it is worth being transparent with people you regularly message that you use a tool like this, and think twice before adding it to a group where not everyone would agree to being logged this way.
