Storage bots use a Telegram chat as a personal drive: send a file, come back to the chat later and download it from any device. Saved Messages already does most of this; the bots here simply keep your stored files in a separate chat, and none of them confirms folders, search or share links.

Every bot received the same set of files: a 1.5 GB video, a 20 MB PDF, a folder of 50 photos and a text note. We checked whether large files upload and download without errors, whether files can be organised in folders and found by search, whether a share link can be created, how long the bot promises to keep files and whether it states where they are stored. Several bots in this niche are near-identical clones; we kept the ones that stayed online through repeated checks.
Before installing a storage bot, try Telegram's Saved Messages: files up to 2 GB (4 GB with Premium), unlimited total volume, search by name and access from every device. A separate bot makes sense mainly if you want stored files kept apart from your notes and forwards. If you need folders, a share link for someone without Telegram or a web view, none of the bots in this rating currently confirms them.
Most bots do not copy your file anywhere: they keep a reference to the file on Telegram's servers and organise those references. That is fast and free, but it means the file lives as long as the bot does. Read the bot's description for a retention promise; if there is none, assume files can disappear and keep a copy elsewhere for anything important.
A bot sees every file you send it and can, in principle, read it. Do not use a third-party storage bot for documents, passwords or personal photos; Saved Messages stays inside your own account. For sharing, a bot that generates links is convenient, but the link usually has no expiry and no password.
Telegram's limit applies: 2 GB per file, 4 GB with Premium. Bots inherit it because the file stays on Telegram's servers.
