Every bot received the same images: a clean QR code, a QR code photographed at an angle in poor light, a screenshot containing a QR code, an EAN-13 barcode from a product and a Code 128 label. For generation we asked for a URL, a Wi-Fi network and a vCard, then scanned the results with two phones. We checked file formats, PNG or SVG, whether a logo or colour can be added, whether the bot watermarks the code and where the data is processed.
