Official bots from ministries, city departments and public agencies: check a debt, submit meter readings, ask about transport, get a consultation on which office to visit. Every bot in this rating is confirmed as run by the agency itself; look-alike bots that ask for money or documents are the main risk in this category.
We confirmed each bot through a link from the agency's official website or verified channel, then ran the main scenario: a debt check by name and date of birth, meter readings for a test account, a transport question with a typo, an MFC consultation about a specific service. We measured how fast and how accurately the bot answered, whether it asks for more personal data than the service needs and whether it clearly states what it cannot do.
Fakes copy names and avatars of public agencies and then ask for a card number, a passport scan or a "fee". A real government bot is linked from the agency's website or verified Telegram channel, never asks for payment inside the chat and usually has a verified badge. When in doubt, find the bot's link on the official site rather than through search inside Telegram.
Information services work best: bailiff proceedings, tax debt, transport questions, office hours and required documents. Transactions are rarer: a city bot may accept meter readings, a regional one may book appointments. Anything involving a signature or a payment still goes through the official portal or app, and a bot that claims otherwise is not official.
Government bots serve one country's agencies, so what you can use depends on where you live. In English the page lists Singapore so far: Kaki (@OneServiceSGBot) handles municipal feedback for the Municipal Services Office. Its AI classifies a report written in plain words, routes it by your text, location and photos, and can hand a case it cannot classify to a live agent during office hours. It still calls itself beta and covers municipal issues only. We add national and city bots once the agency's own website confirms them; suggest one through the form if your agency has an official bot we have missed.
