Easy QR Scan
A Mini App scanner that uses the phone camera through Telegram itself: point, scan, and the decoded URL, vCard, Wi-Fi or text appears instantly, with history synced to your account.
Key features
- Native camera scanning via Telegram Mini App
- Recognizes URLs, vCard, Wi-Fi and geo data, not just text
- Continuous scan mode for multiple codes in a row
- Scan history synced via Telegram cloud storage
- Open source under the MIT license
Easy QR Scan
Easy QR Scan takes a different technical approach from most bots on this list: instead of asking for a photo to process on a server, it opens as a Telegram Mini App and uses the phone camera through Telegram's own scanning API (available on Android and iOS clients running a recent enough Telegram version). That means scanning is instant and happens without uploading anything — point the camera at a code and it decodes on the spot, with haptic feedback confirming a successful read.
It recognizes several encoded formats beyond plain text: URLs, vCard contacts, Wi-Fi credentials and geolocation data are all parsed and presented usefully rather than dumped as raw strings. A continuous scan mode allows working through several codes in a row without reopening the app each time, and every scan is saved to a history stored in Telegram's own cloud storage, so it follows the account across devices rather than staying local to one phone.
The trade-off is the flip side of its main strength: because it depends on the native camera API, scanning only works in Telegram's mobile apps — desktop and web clients can browse the scan history but cannot scan a new code. It is also generation-free: this bot reads codes, it does not create them.
