GoodReader
GoodReader is a lightweight inline bridge to Goodreads' public book database, and nothing more: type @goodreaderbot followed by a title or author in any chat, and it returns matching books with their cover, author and title, ready to send. Tapping "read more" on a sent result expands the message with the book's description and average Goodreads rating, giving anyone in the chat enough to decide whether it is worth a look, without leaving the conversation. It deliberately does not interface with your personal Goodreads account — there is no login, no reading list sync and no way to log a book as read through the bot. That is a genuine trade-off compared to a full Goodreads client, but it also means there is nothing to configure and no personal data involved; it is purely a public search-and-share tool. For recommending a book to a friend mid-conversation, settling what a title is actually about, or just checking a rating before buying, that narrow scope is exactly what is needed — it does not try to be anything more than a fast, shareable book lookup.
