Ask Anonymous Bot follows the format popularized by the NGL app's viral run in 2022 to 2023: "some things are easier to say anonymously, no names, just honesty" is its own tagline, and the mechanic is the familiar one — get a personal link, share it on Instagram or wherever your audience is, and receive anonymous messages back through Telegram. That NGL-style format became famous partly for a specific, well-documented criticism worth repeating here: apps built on this model have faced scrutiny and even legal action over paid "reveal who sent it" features that independent investigations found were frequently non-functional or misleading, essentially selling a false promise of unmasking a sender. Whether or not this particular bot offers such a paid feature, treat any claim of that kind with real skepticism regardless of price — the underlying anonymous-messaging mechanics generally do not support reliably identifying a sender. Used for what it actually is — a way to collect anonymous compliments, confessions or feedback with no ability to verify who sent them — it works the same as any bot in this category. Keep the stakes low, do not pay for a "reveal" feature expecting it to work, and never respond to a message with information that could identify or endanger you.
