VoteBot

VoteBot predates native polls and still fills a gap: it creates polls you can post in channels and forward between chats via a button, with public or anonymous voting and an option to add multiple choices. You build the poll in a private chat with the bot, then either publish it through the inline button or send it to any conversation.

Because Telegram runs it, the bot is free, stable and stores nothing beyond the poll itself. Native polls are more convenient inside groups; VoteBot remains the choice when you need one poll shared across several chats with a single running tally.
