ylinkpro_bot is a Russian-built Telegram bot for turning long URLs into short ones, aimed squarely at a Russian-speaking audience even though the interaction itself is simple enough to use in any language. Send it a link and a shortened version comes back in seconds; there's no sign-up flow to get in the way.

Two features set it apart from the most bare-bones shorteners. First, it supports Telegram's inline mode: type the bot's username followed by a link in the message box of any chat, and a shortened link can be sent without ever opening a direct conversation with the bot — useful mid-conversation in a group when breaking the flow isn't ideal. Second, it can generate a direct link for images sent to it, a small but genuinely useful trick when a plain image URL is needed rather than a Telegram file reference.

For tracking, the bot offers a simple /stat command that reports how many times a given short link has been clicked. It won't show where those clicks came from geographically or what device people used — this is basic click-counting, not a full analytics suite — but for anyone just wanting to know whether a link is actually being used, it's enough.
