How we chose
We asked every bot for a dish from the same three ingredients, chicken, rice and bell pepper, and for a recipe of a named dish, borscht, then checked whether the result had quantities, steps and cooking time. We searched for a dish with a typo, tested how the bot handles a dietary restriction and counted advertising messages during a week of use. Bots that only forward to a website without showing the recipe in the chat were ranked lower.
