Key features
- Photo profile and search for people nearby by location
- Likes and mutual matches that open a chat
- Optional photo verification
- Adults only (18+)
- Website and interface in nine languages
What Lover | Dating 2.0 does
Lover takes the familiar formula of a location-based dating app and moves it into a Telegram chat. You build a profile with photos, the bot shows people near you, and when two people like each other the match opens a conversation. There is nothing to install and no separate account to create beyond the profile itself.
The project runs its own website, lover-bot.com, which links straight to the bot and is available in nine languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese and Indonesian. According to the site, creating a profile, browsing, liking, matching and chatting are free; paid options only add more daily actions or more visibility. The exact prices are not published on the site, so check them inside the bot before paying.
Two details matter for safety: the service is limited to adults, and photo verification is available as an option, which helps separate real profiles from fake ones. The Telegram page shows about 72,000 monthly users, a solid base for a bot of this kind, though far from the largest dating bots on the platform.
As with any dating service, keep money out of the conversation and be careful with anyone who rushes you to another app.
