ProWritingAid vs Spell check
ProWritingAid (@ProWritingAidBot) wins for anyone checking English text they are about to publish: besides grammar and spelling it flags passive voice, repetition and overlong sentences, and returns a corrected version you can copy back. It checks English only, and its ownership is not publicly confirmed. Spell check (@SpellCheckBot) is plainer: spelling and grammar with no style notes, no account and no paid plan advertised, but also no support desk or uptime promise, since its page lists only the author's personal contact. It checks English and Russian. Spell check is the right choice for a quick pass on a short fragment, or when the text is in Russian.
