Each bot was subscribed to the same three sources: an RSS feed that updates hourly, a YouTube channel and an Instagram account. Over three days we measured the delay between publication and the post in Telegram, checked how the post looked, with a picture, a title and a link or a bare URL, and whether duplicates appeared. We noted the free limit on feeds and posts and whether the project is open source.

RSS is the reliable path
A site with an RSS feed is the easiest source: the bot polls the feed, the format is stable and nothing breaks when the site changes its design.
