Bot Bapenda Sulsel

In Indonesia, the motor vehicle tax (PKB) is paid every year through Samsat, and it helps to know the amount before you go. Bapenda Sulsel, the regional revenue agency of South Sulawesi, runs its own Telegram bot for exactly that. The bot's Telegram page reads «Info Pajak Kendaraan Samsat Sulsel» and links to the agency's website, bapenda.sulselprov.go.id; the agency announced it on its Facebook page and local media covered the launch in 2021.

The bot does not understand free text. You type one command in a fixed order: the word SULSEL, the three parts of the plate number and the region, as in SULSEL NOPOL1 NOPOL2 NOPOL3 WILAYAH. It replies with the vehicle tax information for regencies and cities of the province, such as Makassar, Bone and Bulukumba. The lookup is free and comes straight from the agency, which is the main reason to prefer it over third-party check sites.

The limits are clear. It covers only vehicles registered in South Sulawesi, not the rest of Indonesia. We found no sign of updates since the 2021 launch, and no mention of paying the tax inside the bot, so treat it as a quick check before you visit Samsat. Its Telegram page shows no user count.
