fns_checker_bot, publicly named "Помощник по ЕНС" ("ENS Assistant"), is the Federal Tax Service's own chat-bot for Russia's Unified Tax Account system, launched in March 2023 alongside the ENS reform itself and confirmed by regional tax-office press releases at the time. Unlike a private aggregator guessing at your tax situation from public data, this assistant is built and maintained by the tax authority that actually administers the ENS.

Rather than showing a live balance — that still requires signing in to the separate, authenticated "Личный кабинет налогоплательщика" — the bot works as a guided questionnaire: it asks about your business structure, tax regime, whether you have employees, and what property you own, then tells you which notifications about calculated tax amounts you need to file and by when. It is aimed squarely at the most confusing part of the 2023 ENS reform — figuring out when and what to report before the money actually leaves your account.

Because it doesn't require you to hand over your INN or personal identifiers to get an answer, it sidesteps the biggest safety concern in this subtopic. The trade-off is scope: it won't tell you your actual current debt or overpayment on the ENS, and it has no confirmed English interface — treat it as a decision-tree for reporting obligations rather than a balance checker. For the live number, you still need the authenticated personal account or the payment channels it points you toward.
