Give it keywords and it watches Google Scholar and arXiv for new papers that match, then posts alerts in the chat. An open-source side project by a researcher, running on the author's own server.
Google Scholar sends its alerts by email, and arXiv's own mailing lists go by category rather than keyword. GSAbot brings both into a Telegram chat. You add keywords or key phrases, choose how often it checks, and it messages you when something new for any of them shows up on Google Scholar or arXiv. Each chat keeps its own list, so the keywords of different chats never mix.
The commands cover the whole loop: /add and /remove edit the list, /list shows it, /alert turns alerts on or off, /cron changes the frequency, and /check_gscholar or /check_arxiv run a search right away.
Be realistic about what it is. The author wrote it for personal use, published the code under GPL-3.0 and runs the public bot on a personal server with limited capacity. The Google Scholar side depends on a paid search API, and the code was last updated in 2022. When it works it is handy; for a literature review you cannot afford to get wrong, keep Scholar's own email alerts too.

Scholar's alerts come by email and cover Scholar only. This bot adds arXiv and delivers to Telegram, but it is a one-person project, so keep the email alerts for anything important.
Yes. The GitHub repository has install instructions for a Linux server; you need your own Telegram bot token and a token for the Scale SERP search API.
