Generated music has a narrow but real use: a background track for a video where a licensed song would cost money and a silent clip feels dead. Describe the mood, the genre and the tempo, and the bot returns a finished piece with vocals if you asked for them.
Quality varies by genre - simple electronic and lo-fi come out convincing, live instruments and complex vocals less so. Two minutes of listening tells you more than any description, and the free attempts are enough for that.
As with the video bots, the licence for commercial use comes from the service behind the model, not from the bot, so read the terms before a track goes into something public.
