Save As Bot (@SaveAsBot) is a link-in, file-out utility: paste a public post, reel, story or video link and it fetches the media and returns it straight into the chat as a normal Telegram file, ready to forward, save to the gallery or re-upload elsewhere. With close to 4 million monthly users it is one of the most-used bots of its kind on the platform, which in practice means it is actively maintained and rarely goes down for long.

The interface is deliberately minimal: there is no menu to learn, you just drop a link and wait a few seconds. That simplicity is also its main limitation — there is no dashboard, no history of past downloads and no way to batch-process a whole channel or playlist at once. Support is handled through a linked contact account rather than a public help desk, so if a specific link fails there is no guaranteed fast response.

Because the bot works purely by fetching whatever a public URL points to, it cannot pull content from private or restricted accounts, and heavily protected platforms occasionally break support until the bot is updated.
