A small, free pronunciation coach. Say the phrase it gives you in a voice message and Thought tells you which sounds went wrong and how to fix them, with an audio example. It can also hold simple conversations and correct grammar along the way.
Thought is a small, focused Telegram bot for English pronunciation. Its developer, by their own account, could read and write English well but froze when speaking in work meetings, and built the coach they could not find. The bot gives you short phrases to say out loud, listens to your voice message and replies with brief, specific feedback on the sounds you got wrong, for example that the "th" in "think" came out closer to an "s", plus how to fix it. Every phrase comes with an audio example so you can hear the target sound.
Beyond drills, Thought can hold a simple conversation. It asks questions such as what your favourite film is and why, then corrects pronunciation, grammar and word choice in context and asks follow-ups to keep you talking; it even helps with names. Instructions and corrections arrive one short message at a time, and the developer says the exercises adjust from beginner to advanced level. Under the hood it combines a large language model with speech recognition.
Thought launched on Product Hunt in July 2025, where the developer described it as public and free. It is a young one-person project with a very small following, no website or privacy policy that we could find, and no updates published after the launch posts. Treat it as a free extra for pronunciation practice alongside a broader tutor, not as your main course.

The developer announced it as free when it launched in July 2025, and its Product Hunt page lists free options. No paid plans are published.
Short notes on the specific sounds you mispronounced and how to fix them, with an audio example. In conversations it also corrects grammar and word choice.
Both, according to the developer, who says the exercises adjust from beginner to advanced level.
