A vocabulary-only bot for English: a placement test sets your level and plan, then lessons bring 10 new words a day with review tests. Only one lesson is free; daily lessons need a subscription.
Wordich is a bot for vocabulary and nothing else. You start with a placement test, the bot sets your level and builds a personal plan, and from then on it sends 10 new English words a day and reinforces them with tests. Reviews follow the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve: a word keeps coming back until it sticks. According to the website, the word base holds more than 5,000 words for levels A1 to C2, and a lesson takes no more than 7 minutes a day.
Learned words stay in the chat history under the #learned hashtag, and /repeat pulls ten random words from past lessons when you want an extra review. The website says the bot suits both beginners and advanced learners refreshing their vocabulary, but admits that learning a language from scratch with a bot alone is hard: this is a vocabulary tool, with no grammar and no speaking practice.
The key thing to know before you start: the free version gives you a single lesson. Daily lessons, the lesson schedule (/time) and the difficulty level (/level) come with a subscription, and the website does not publish the price; the bot shows it. The bot and its website are in Russian. wordich.com says more than 100,000 people use the bot; the Telegram page shows no user counter.
