What Alitools Official Bot does
Alitools is a shopping assistant for AliExpress, best known for its browser extension, which the company says has more than 400,000 users. Among its features the site lists a price drop alert on AliExpress through "our Telegram bot", and the bot's own title is Alitools Official Bot.
The bot's job is narrow. Its description says it: add a product you are interested in, and it will notify you when the price drops. That is useful on AliExpress in particular, where the same item is sold by many sellers and prices move constantly. For the context of an alert, the Alitools extension shows the product's price history for the last three to six months, which reveals whether a "sale" price was inflated first, and it also rates sellers and finds similar listings. Those tools live in the extension, not in the chat.
The bot is free. It covers AliExpress only, and the company does not publish how often prices are checked or how many products one person can follow, so for a big purchase keep an eye on the listing yourself as well.
