Spam Protection & Captcha

Spam Protection & Captcha combines an entry challenge with checks against a shared database of accounts already flagged as spammers elsewhere, so known bad actors can be blocked immediately without waiting for them to fail a captcha. New members who are not already flagged still go through the standard verification step.

This global-blacklist approach is similar in spirit to Combot's CAS system, though it is offered here as part of a lightweight, single-purpose bot rather than a full moderation suite — expect entry protection only, not ongoing content moderation.
