Send a PDF into the chat and ask about it in plain language: summaries, key ideas, specific answers. The first 20 questions are free; after that credits are sold only for TON.
Ask PDF AI does one thing. You drop a PDF into the chat, the bot reads and indexes it, and you ask about it in plain language — a summary of the chapter, the key ideas, a definition, the answer to a specific question. Beyond that there are only a few housekeeping commands: /status shows your credit balance, /clear removes the current document so you can load the next one. With no PDF loaded, the bot falls back to general AI chat, which is worth keeping in mind: an answer given then comes from the model, not from your textbook.
The pricing is simple but unusual. Every new user gets 20 free credits and each question about a PDF costs one, so the free start covers roughly one reading session. After that, credits are bought only with TON, the cryptocurrency used by Telegram's wallet and Mini Apps, through the bot's own Mini App: from 30 credits for 1 TON to 1,500 credits for 20 TON. If you do not already hold TON, that is an extra step before your second chapter.
This is a small independent project: the website links its developer's GitHub profile and publishes no privacy policy. Keep to course material you would be comfortable sharing, and ask for the passage behind an answer before you rely on it in an essay.

Twenty. New users get 20 credits, and each question about a PDF uses one.
Not according to the website. Credits are sold only for TON through the bot's Mini App, in packs from 1 TON for 30 credits to 20 TON for 1,500 credits.
Only while a PDF is loaded. After /clear, or before you send a file, the bot answers as a general AI chat, so reload the document before asking about it.
