PupilBot

PupilBot is not a Telegram-first tool, and it is better to know that before opening the bot: you build your studies in the PupilBot web app or the iPhone app, and the Telegram bot is the part that follows you afterwards. That split is exactly what makes it useful for study materials. You photograph pages of your notes, a handout or lecture slides, or import a PDF and pick single pages, a range or a whole chapter — up to 50 pages per study — and PupilBot reads them, finds the topics and writes questions from your material rather than from a general syllabus.

Once you link Telegram from the dashboard with a one-time code, the bot quizzes you in chat and, more importantly, takes the initiative: when a question is due under the spaced-repetition schedule, it sends it without being asked. In Telegram it also uses formats the web app does not, such as matching pairs and written answers, which are graded for meaning rather than exact wording. A missed question comes back within minutes, a correct one after longer and longer intervals, and per-topic mastery shows what still needs work.

The free plan covers one study; Premium raises that to up to ten studies a day, with prices shown in the app because they vary by region and platform. The interface is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Romanian. The privacy policy, written under the EU's GDPR, says extracted text goes to OpenAI and/or xAI for question writing and grading under no-training terms, and that materials are kept until you delete them.
