What EAES Official Results Bot does
EAES Official Results Bot is the Telegram route through which Ethiopia's Educational Assessment and Examinations Service (EAES) hands out national exam results. The service lists it on eaes.et as one of three official channels, next to the result.eaes.et website and SMS to 6284, and the bot's Telegram page shows more than 460,000 monthly users.
It does one job. Once results for the grade 12 Ethiopian Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESSLCE) are released, you press Start and send your admission number when the bot asks for it — the registration number exactly as printed on your admission card; some guides say it also asks for your first name. The result comes back in the chat, and when the 2025 results came out the exam service said that candidates using the website or the bot could download a provisional certificate straight away. The final printed certificate is issued later.
Two cautions. Around results day look-alike bots and channels appear, and EAES itself asks candidates to use only its own addresses: open the username that eaes.et links to, @EAESbot, and send your details nowhere else. And the bot does nothing beyond results — university placement is announced separately by the Ministry of Education through its own bot, @moestudentbot.

Is this the real EAES bot?
Yes. eaes.et lists t.me/EAESbot among its official result channels, and result.eaes.et calls it the official EAES Telegram bot. Copies with an almost identical username appear around results day.
What do I need to check my result?
Your admission number, typed exactly as it appears on your admission card, including any leading zeros. Some guides say the bot also asks for your first name.
Can I get a certificate from the bot?
A provisional one. When the 2025 results were released, the exam service said candidates using the website or Telegram could download a provisional certificate immediately; the final printed certificate comes later.
