EODHDSignals (@eodhdsignalsbot) comes from EODHD, a company that sells market data for stocks, ETFs, forex and crypto through an API. Its user guide on eodhd.com links the bot, calls it free and notes that using it does not consume API calls.
The bot watches one market per chat. You set a symbol in EODHD's format (AAPL.US for Apple, BTC-USD.CC for bitcoin), choose a timeframe from one minute to one month and pick a strategy with on-screen buttons: SMA, EMA, RSI, MACD or Bollinger Bands. When the strategy's conditions are met, the bot posts a Buy or Sell alert. /get_price shows the latest price, /analyse_market runs the analysis right away, and /backtest applies a strategy to historical data and reports the number of trades, wins and losses, win rate and total return.
The project started as a three-part EODHD Academy tutorial, and its code is open on GitHub. It still feels like one: a single symbol at a time, no portfolio, no news, no fundamentals.
EODHD says plainly that it provides no financial services and that its data is not necessarily real-time or exact, and the backtests leave out exchange fees. Use the alerts to watch how a strategy behaves, not as trading advice.
