Premium Bot

@PremiumBot is Telegram's own checkout for its paid features. In it you can subscribe to Telegram Premium, send another user a prepaid subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months as a gift, and buy Telegram Stars, the in-app currency that bots and Mini Apps accept for digital goods.

The reason to use the bot instead of the purchase button in the app is the price. Telegram's Premium FAQ says subscriptions bought through @PremiumBot are discounted by default because they are not subject to Apple or Google fees, and the bot's own description promises discounts of up to 40%. The catch is where it opens: the FAQ lists the direct version of Telegram for Android, Desktop and macOS, and the Stars terms add the Web version. If your Telegram came from the App Store or Google Play, the purchase goes through the store instead.

Prices are not the same everywhere. The first payment is priced by the country code of your phone number and later renewals by the country of your payment method, and in some countries local rules keep Premium unavailable. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors rather than by Telegram itself. The t.me page counts about 6.8 million users a month, more than any other payment bot in this list.
