What Tribute does
Tribute (@tribute) is a monetization platform that runs as a Telegram bot. A creator adds the bot as an administrator of a channel or group, with rights to send, edit and delete messages and to create invite links, and then sets up what to sell: a subscription to a private channel, donations towards a goal, a digital product such as a guide or a course, or physical goods through a small store. Followers pay without leaving Telegram, with a card issued by any bank in any country or in USDT, BTC or TON, and manage or cancel their subscriptions from their own profile.
The pricing is simple: Tribute keeps a flat 10% of each completed payment and charges no monthly fee. Payouts come twice a month, on the 10th and the 25th, in euros to a bank card or account, with a €100 minimum for a card; balances below it roll over, and payouts in crypto are available too. A single payment can be as small as €1, a donation is capped at €2,000 and a subscription price at €3,000.
The service is run by TRBT Limited, registered in Cyprus, and the bot carries Telegram's verification badge. Its site counts more than 70,000 creators and over $45 million paid out, and the t.me page shows about 1.8 million users a month. When Telegram's older @donate service closed in 2024, it pointed creators to Tribute and let them move their subscribers there.
