What TheLair Weather does
TheLair Weather is a forecast bot for people who want detail. Its site, tg-weather-bot.today, lists a detailed forecast for 10 days covering temperature, cloud cover, precipitation and wind, up to 10 saved locations, time zone management and meteograms, the weather charts that show how temperature, rain and wind change hour by hour. You add a place with /new and ask for the forecast with /w; /settings holds the language and other preferences.
The bot has been around since 2017 and is still updated: a major update in March 2025 added meteograms, and an April 2025 update added a quick forecast for your favourite location. The interface is in English and Russian, chosen at the start.
It is free and asks for nothing but a place name. There is no named company or developer behind it, only the project site with its changelog, and the bot does not document severe-weather alerts or scheduled daily messages, so it is a tool you open when you want to plan the next days rather than one that reminds you.
