Inline film and series search on The Movie Database (TMDB): type the bot name and a title in any chat to share a card with poster, overview and rating. Free and open-source.
TMDB Search Bot does one small job: it lets you pull a film or series card out of The Movie Database without leaving the conversation. Type @TMDBSearchRobot followed by a title in any chat, pick the right result from the list, and the chat receives a poster, a short overview and the TMDB rating. It is the quickest way to answer "which film do you mean?" in a group or to suggest something for movie night.
TMDB is a large community-edited database, and its data is also behind many streaming apps and media players, so coverage of international and non-Hollywood titles is good. The bot itself is a small open-source project hosted on Cloudflare Workers; the code is public on GitHub, and there is no account, payment or subscription involved.
The limits follow from the size of the project. The bot shows information and nothing else: no streaming availability, no watchlist, no reminders. It is not made by TMDB, and it depends on one developer keeping a free-tier deployment alive. For "where can I watch it" you need a different bot; for "what is it and is it any good" this one is enough.

No. It shows the poster, overview and rating only; for streaming availability use a dedicated bot such as @streamradarbot.
