For cron jobs and backups, Healthchecks.io (@HealthchecksBot) is the better pick: it alerts Telegram both when a job calls its URL with /fail and when a job stops calling it at all, and the free Hobbyist plan covers 20 checks. Beep Beep (@beep_notifine_bot) is simpler: /start gives a chat a webhook URL, and the text of any POST request arrives as a message, with no account. It cannot notice silence, and anyone who knows the URL can post to the chat. Pick Beep Beep when you just want a script to say something, such as «deploy finished», without signing up anywhere.
