What BuddyTelegramBot does
buddy.works is a CI/CD platform where you build pipelines that test, build and deploy code. Among its many actions is Telegram, and the buddy.works documentation names @BuddyTelegramBot as the bot that publishes those messages on your behalf.
Setup is short. In buddy.works you open Integrations, add Telegram and invite @BuddyTelegramBot to the public channel or group, then paste the string buddy.works shows into the conversation. For a private channel or a personal chat you select User as the Telegram endpoint, follow the link that adds the bot to your contacts and paste the text there. After that you add a Telegram action to any pipeline. The default message includes the execution ID, the pipeline name and who started it, and you can rewrite it with the buddy.works variables in Markdown or HTML. Several integrations let different pipelines post to different chats.
The bot is only useful if your pipelines run on buddy.works; it does not listen to GitHub, GitLab or other CI services. The buddy.works free plan includes one seat and 300 pipeline GB-minutes; Pro costs €29 a month.

- In buddy.works, open Integrations, click New integration and choose Telegram
- Invite @BuddyTelegramBot to your group or channel, or pick User for a private chat
- Paste the string buddy.works shows into that chat
- Add a Telegram action to your pipeline
