What GitHub does
@GitHubBot is one of the oldest GitHub bots on Telegram. Its description promises notifications about events in your public GitHub repositories and the ability to post comments directly from Telegram. The README of the Integram project lists it next to its own bots and credits it to developer Igor Zhukov, noting that it is not part of Integram. Despite the name, GitHub itself does not run it.
The flow, as recorded by the botostore catalog, goes through commands. /connect authorises the bot on GitHub with OAuth, /newintegration adds a repository, /listintegrations shows what is connected and /delintegration removes a link. When a notification arrives, replying to it posts your text as a comment on GitHub.
We could not find a public repository, a changelog or a support channel for the bot, so there is no way to tell how actively it is maintained. It still resolves on Telegram. For new setups, the open-source Notifine GitHub bot (@github_notifine_bot) needs no login at all, and GithubBot (@FallenAlertBot) offers the same reply-to-comment idea with published code and more actions.
