A free open-source bot for logging daily income and expenses in Indonesian: type /catat and several entries in one message, write amounts as «rb», «k» or «jt», tag categories with hashtags and delete an entry by replying to it.
Asisten, the bot behind @catatyabot, is the simplest kind of bookkeeping: a running log of money in and money out, kept in a Telegram chat. It suits a small stall owner, a freelancer or a household that wants a record without learning an app, and everything it says is in Indonesian.
You start an entry with /catat and write what happened. One message can hold several entries, so a whole day of sales and purchases goes in at once. Amounts can be written the way Indonesians type them, with «rb» or «k» for thousands and «jt» for millions, and hashtags work as categories, for example #bensin or #jualan. If you make a mistake, reply to the entry and remove it; /hapus and /bantuan cover deleting and help.
The project is open source on GitHub by a single developer and has no paid plans, so it costs nothing and you can read exactly what the code does with your entries, or run your own copy. The flip side of a one-person project is that it lives as long as its author maintains it.
Keep expectations modest: it is a log, not accounting software. We found no invoices, reports, charts or export in its description, and the interface is Indonesian only.
