A free notification bot for RSS and Atom feeds that checks for new posts roughly every five minutes and allows up to 500 feeds per user, delivered to a private chat, a group or a channel.
RSS bot does one job: you give it the address of an RSS or Atom feed, and new entries arrive in Telegram. Its public page, rss2tg.duck.consulting, is unusually open about how the service runs. Live monitoring charts show how often feeds are polled, how many posts go out and how many chats use the bot; in September 2026 that was about 9,500 chats, including some 2,800 channels, and an estimated 6,400 people managing subscriptions.
The author describes the limits as generous on purpose: 500 feeds per user, or even 5,000, and an update rate of about five minutes. Users who do not need speed can switch to a slow mode in /settings, and the same menu decides whether long posts are split or several posts are merged into one message. The bot works in private chats, in groups and in channels, and the site lists public channels fed by it, from university notices to regional news outlets.
The service is free and runs on a server donated by a hosting company, after a period funded by Patreon. There is no company behind it and no documented support beyond a community chat, @rss2tg_community, so keep a second way to reach any source you cannot afford to miss.

The author states an update rate of about five minutes, with no fixed value; sites that throttle requests can slow a feed down, and slow mode in /settings checks less often on purpose.
Yes. The bot works in channels and groups as well as private chats; about 2,800 channels were subscribed through it in September 2026.
