RSS to Telegram bot

RSS to Telegram bot is the running copy of an open-source project by BoKKeR, whose README links to @rss_t_bot as the public bot. The author wrote it, in his words, because third-party services were unreliable, and the design is deliberately plain: the bot fetches your feeds at an interval and posts new entries into the chat.

Everything is done with commands. /add takes a title and a feed link, /list shows your feeds, /remove deletes one or several, /disable pauses a single feed and /disable_all pauses them all, and /settings shows the options, including how often feeds are fetched. /test pulls a sample post from a Reddit feed, a quick way to see what messages look like before you add your own sources. There is no scraping of pages without feeds and no social-network support.

The code is under the GPL-3.0 licence with 277 stars, and it can be self-hosted with Docker if you would rather not depend on someone else's server. The last change to the repository was in June 2024 and the bot's Telegram page has no description, so treat the public instance as a convenience rather than a service with support.
