@translaterubot is PROMT's own Telegram bot — PROMT.Translate — built by the company that has been selling machine-translation software in Russia since the 1990s, long before neural translation became the norm. Send it a message and it detects the source language automatically and replies in your target language across 16 supported languages, including English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Chinese and Turkish. A distinctive feature: instead of copy-pasting text out of a channel, you can use Telegram's Share button on a whole post and forward it straight to the bot for translation, which is convenient for reading foreign-language channels without leaving Telegram.

For single words, the bot doesn't just hand back one translation — it breaks results down by part of speech and, for English, adds a transcription, which is closer to what you'd expect from a dictionary than a plain translator. As a corporate product with a long track record, it's a safer bet on continuity than a hobbyist bot, and feedback goes to a named support account (@PROMTRu) rather than into a void.

The trade-off is scope: 16 languages is modest next to the 100+ some competitors claim, so for very rare language pairs you'll likely get better results elsewhere. For the languages it does cover, especially if you regularly read foreign channels, it's a solid, low-friction choice.
